Long ago in the sacred town of Mahavan, there lived a brave young Kshatriya girl. She was calm, wise, and deeply spiritual. Even as a child, she felt a strong connection to Shri Krishna and knew her life had a special purpose.
One day, her family told her they had arranged her marriage. She gently warned them, "Please don’t force me. If I am made to marry, something terrible will happen." But her parents, worried about what others would say, went ahead with the wedding.
Just as she had said, soon after the marriage, her husband and her family members passed away. Left all alone, the young woman didn’t become bitter or angry. Instead, she turned toward the path of devotion and peace. She decided to give her life fully to God.
She became a follower of Shri Mahaprabhuji, a divine teacher filled with grace and wisdom. When she met him, she said, “Everyone serves Shri Krishna. I want to serve you, my guru.”
Shri Mahaprabhuji was touched by her love. He gave her a sacred cloth with the footprints of his own feet on it. “Take care of this with love,” he said. “This is your seva.”
The lady accepted it with great joy. Every day, she lovingly worshipped that cloth and spent her time thinking of Shri Mahaprabhuji. After some time, he left for Benares, and she continued her seva quietly and with deep faith.
One peaceful morning, she walked to the Yamunaji River to collect water. There, in the shallow waters, she saw something very special. Four small divine forms—called ‘svarupas’—of Shri Krishna stood before her in the water. They looked alive and glowing with sweetness.
She asked, “Who are you, and what are you doing here?”
The svarupas answered, “We are here for you. Please take us with you. After some time, you must offer us to Shri Mahaprabhuji.”
The lady replied kindly, “I will have to ask my guru first.”
Later that day, as she sat quietly in her home, Shri Mahaprabhuji appeared before her in a divine form. With a gentle smile, he said, “Bring the svarupas into your home right away.”
Filled with joy, she brought them home and began their seva with love and care. She offered them food, flowers, songs, and deep devotion every day. Her home became a place of peace and grace.
When Shri Mahaprabhuji returned, she offered the four beautiful svarupas to him with a happy heart. Shri Mahaprabhuji then gave each of them to four special devotees:
Shri Gokul Chandramaji was given to Narayanadas.
Shri Ladaleshji was given to Jiyadas.
Shri Lalitatribhangaji was given to Devarapura.
Shri Navanita Priyaji was given to Gajjan.
Even though not much more is known about this kind Kshatriya lady, her simple and pure devotion left a deep mark. Her story shows that true love for the guru and Shri Krishna shines quietly but brightly—just like a lamp in the dark.
